Inspection Services
Verbal Inspection	Inspector conducts an on-site inspection and reports on problem verbally to client.	Used to determine what the nature of the problem is; best suited to when parties are not adversarial.	$395
Full Inspection	Inspector conducts an on-site inspection and documents problem in a certified narrative report.	Used when attempts to resolve the issue are unsuccessful and there is a chance that a report will be needed for Contractors State License Board proceedings, litigation or mediation.	$895 flat fee for the first 8 hours of work. An hourly rate of $185 is charged for jobs that exceed 8 hours of work.
Report Revisions	Revisions or clarifications of existing report		$185/hour

	Mileage charged from office headquarters		$0.60/mile

Inspection Rebuttal Services	Inspector reviews written inspection reports and develops rebuttal document.	Used to determine validity of multiple reports and/or dispute another inspector’s report.	$285 to NWFA $185/hour for rebuttal writing
Inspection Services – China	Inspection services in China including: - Lab testing - Spot checks - Unannounced inspection - Photos of the manufacturing process	For clients who are importing wood flooring or manufacturing wood flooring in China and would like to check the product quality prior to shipping. Expert Witness	Jeffrey Meltzer is considered a forensic expert witness with many successes on the stand for his clients.	For attorneys needing testimony from an articulate, knowledgeable flooring expert.	$1500/day plus $185/hour for pretrial preparation (reading briefs, meeting with attorneys)
