Inspection Timeline

1. Complete the Online Request Form or fax the Request for Inspection Questionnaire
   (coming soon).
2. An inspector will contact you to arrange a convenient time for the inspection. The actual inspection
   will take approximately 1 to 2 hours. The party who requests the inspection should be present to answer any questions the inspector may have.
3. A verbal report will be available immediately after the inspection.
4. A written inspection report is typically completed within 14 business days. Sometimes another visit to the site is required, or the homeowner may need to answer additional questions.
5. When the report is complete, the client can decide how to seek remediation if it’s required. If the responsible party is not amenable, mediation or litigation may be necessary.
6. Additional fees are required if the inspector is to be involved in the mediation process or is called as an expert witness in a lawsuit.
