NWFA Certified Inspectors

Universal inspectors are certified by the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association). All inspections are overseen by Jeffrey Meltzer (NWFA License # CP1980205) who is both NWFA certified and designated an NWFA Certified Professional.

About the NWFA Certification Process

The NWFA developed its certification program in 1998 to recognize and promote wood flooring competence. NWFA Certified Status is the industry mark of excellence and professional credibility. 
The NWFA also offers an NWFA Certified Professional certification which recognizes competence and understanding in the inspection of wood flooring. An NWFA Certified Professional must pass a series of five written exams, then complete five inspections and submit those inspection reports to the certification committee for review and approval.
